My Telephone directory 2013 is a free software that it is been created to manage organizations telephone directories and people information. It was originally designed for Princess Marina Hospital in Gaborone, Botswana. But thinking about a general solution for any businesses and organization. The solution is able to store useful information for the personal that works withing an organization or that needs information about the personal on the organization. It stores data like names, phones, e-mails, fax, departments, designations and much more. Every thing accessible from a web browser on a desktop, tablet or smart phone just with a couple of clicks.

Requirements:

Web server.

PHP4 or superior.

MySQL 5.x

My Telephone Directory is an alpha version, or a functional prototype. It is given for free as it is. So if you have problems with it, the author will not be responsible for it under any circumstances.

My Telephone Directory project route plan:

The project it is done as the first part of a bigger project called Web Organizer. The next module that will come out will be the Schedule module. That will help organizations to locate required personal on every moment with a few clicks. The objective is to use the organizer for instance to know who is on call on on the company for X activity during certain time using the scheduler. And it will use My Telephone Directory to know who is the person that they should call or locate and how. To develop this second piece of software I will use Symfony2.x which it is considered a very good framework by the PHP geek world. After that the My Telephone Directory is also supposed to migrate to this framework also gradually. Both software will be free software to use distribute or what ever you want to do with it.
